Development Seminars 2010
Posted on 16 November 2009
We are delighted to offer the following half-day seminars to educators and organizational leaders in New South Wales. These seminars are intended to train attendees in analyzing current issues, develop skills for teaching and leadership, and provide an understanding of the Christian faith and its relevance to a wide range of social, cultural, philosophical and ethical issues. Ideal for School Staff Development Days, these seminars are a combination of lecturing, small group work, audiovisual presentations and mediated question times. We aim to equip attendees not only with advanced knowledge of the topic under consideration, but also ideas and resources for using this knowledge in educational contexts. We are taking requests for these seminars now.
Speakers include: John Dickson, Simon Smart, Greg Clarke, Jim Harrison, Graham Barker, Jeff Rutter, Christine Ratnasingham, Andrew Cameron, Michael Jensen, Glenn Davies, Susan King, Trevor Cairney, Karin Sowada, Claire Smith.
This is a collaborative offering by the following organisations:
- Centre for Public Christianity (CPX)
- Anglican Education Commission (AEC)
- Moore Theological College
- Wesley Institute
- The Anglican Deaconess Institution Sydney Limited (ADISL)
- Centre for Apologetic Scholarship and Education (CASE)
