The Christians in Teaching project aims to encourage Christians to enter the teaching profession. It recognises that teaching is a valuable profession in its own right, and also that the Christian teacher has many opportunities for gospel ministry; that the Christian teacher is a significant gatekeeper who has the opportunity to “pass on” the transforming message of the gospel to the next generation. The Christians in Teaching project encourages Christians to serve Christ in all types of schools, State and Independent.

Ian Keast is the Director of Recruitment for this Project.

    Ian is available to visit:

  • Schools (for Chapel services; assemblies; lunchtime groups)
  • Careers events
  • Study Camps
  • University groups
  • Churches
  • Youth fellowships
  • Conferences and conventions

His visits are designed to raise an awareness of the strategic place of our schools in the growth of God’s Kingdom and the challenge, therefore, for Christians to consider teaching as a Kingdom priority.
